The Evangelism Of Penn & Teller

You can have your in-your-face, door-to-door, street corner, angry preacher guy evangelism all day long. For me, this is my kind of evangelism. This amazing video speaks volumes as to the impact of sharing Christ with a kind, caring, compassionate, and loving heart. A heart that breaks when it sees anyone not in communion with the Father. That's the way I see Jesus acting in the scriptures and that's the example I want to follow.

I had seen this on a church planter's blog already. It speaks for those of us who refuse to endorse that nasty in your face proselytizing.

My Book Review: The Barbarian's Way

So I'm reading this new book by Erwin McManus titled "The Barbaian way". His main focus is on John and Baptist and Jesus' relationship and how John was a "barbarian" which is exactly what God asked him to be but as he (Erwin) looks around in "christian" circles today he sees very few barbarians and a lot of watered down soft believers. I was afraid this would be a typical "rah rah go save the world or die trying" type book with lots of brow beating about how we need to witness more and be more conservative but that's not the case. My "Crazy Love" Small Group Discussion Questions

I've had the opportunity to lead several small groups based of the Francis Chan book "Crazy Love". The discussion questions that come with the DVD study leaves a lot to be desired. So through my own personal questions and questions from other "Crazy Love" resources online I've been able to develope a more indepth study of the book. Below are the questions I have used for all 10 chapters of the book study. Feel free to use them as you'd like. Chapter 1: Stop Praying Stop and think about the last prayer you voiced.
